Margaret Mead essay.
Mead's argument or analysis is true. However, I'm not fully agree with it or perhaps I may be wrong. Maybe Americans can be taught to celebrate and admire the one who gets the highest grades but they still hate on them. Hating is not good and it took over people's minds. There are only few things now, that is without hatred. However, there are people that admire the highest graded people because they become its role model or even an influence.
In this life or world I don't like how things are divided in two's. For example, if a person is very successful and living well, they tend to step on the others like they are the boss. In the end we all are the same and we should help each other when they are having a hard time, instead of making them worse. Even some nice words from someone's heart makes someone's day.
I agree with how Margaret Mead said that "people who work in another profession, live in another community, or are endowed with a talent that we do not especially want for ourselves." This phrase is based on almost most of people's lives. We always try to fit in some kind of small spaces. Things always don't work out and that makes us to "endow with a talent that we do not want for ourselves."
In my opinion, not only to be successful but to spend or use the only life you might live, to spend it productively and not to look back. At least even when you remember, should have one or two things to say that made yourself proud. It would be great to be remembered and get admired of what you did or what you have done. Success is one of the greatest things in life and we must spend that wisely in our one life.
Dreaming big is one of the steps of getting successful because any person would try its hard and best to reach that goal. Once you reach you will know that it became successful. I think trying hard and not giving up is the key of life in this case "a successful life."
I agree with her. Not only American does. Even I do that too. If I got B and my friend got A then I would celebrate them but I am still hate them.
